BD’s all-new Turbo Thruster turbocharger upgrade kit for ’03-’07 Power Stroke diesels features the Borg Warner S300 turbocharger with extended tip technology, double-port adjustable waste gate and shrouded housing. These turbochargers deliver quick response with strong mid and top-end power, and are the ideal solution to the stock variable vane turbo, which is prone to malfunction and hesitation. At the same time, the S300’s amazing airflow potential makes it suitable for applications all the way up to 500 rear wheel horsepower! POWER MAX YOUR 7.3 POWER STROKE

Give your Power Stroke a shot in the arm with the Power Max turbo system for '99-'03 7.3 liter Power Stroke applications. The Power Max Garrett GTP38R ball bearing turbocharger has large 88 mm compressor wheel, 8 MM larger than stock.

The Garrett turbo was designed for the 7.3 Power Stroke application and has very quick response time for its size, plus it flows 33% more air for more power and super cool EGT's. In fact, pre-turbo EGT is typically below 1200F on an otherwise stock engine with a fuel-enrichment programmer in place. The new ported-shroud compressor housing, meanwhile, eliminates the surging and popping problems that are commonly experienced with the stock turbo. The Power Max's ball-bearing design, while not re-buildable, has proven to be very durable or we wouldn't put the BD name on it.

The Power Max's 1.00 A/R Dual Volute turbine housing features an adjustable waste gate that responds quickly to low-engine rpm exhaust pulses and has a Delta P exhaust back pressure to boost ratio that is far more favorable than the stock turbo. In short, the Power Max is the best-matched turbo system for the 7.3 Power Stroke in the industry!
